With laser cut fins, our custom motor retention system and water slide decals you will be able to build a great flying, and great looking scale rocket, that is not a common sight at the launches.

 The AIM-54 Phoenix missile is a long-range air-to-air missile developed by Hughes Aircraft Company in the United States. It is arried in clusters of up to six missiles on the Grumman F-14 Tomcat, its only operational launch platform. The missile has a length of 12 ft 9 + 1⁄2 in (3.9 m), a diameter of 15 in (380 mm), and a wingspan of 2 ft 11 + 1⁄2 in (0.9 m). It weighs 976 lb (443 kg) for AIM-54A/B and 1,015 lb (460 kg) for AIM-54C. The missile is powered by a solid propellant rocket motor and has a maximum speed of Mach 4.3 (1,460 m/s; 4,800 ft/s). The AIM-54A/B has a range of 72.9 nmi (135.0 km; 83.9 mi) and the AIM-54C has a range of 99.4 nmi (184.1 km; 114.4 mi). The missile is guided by a semi-active radar homing and terminal phase active radar homing system. The purpose of the AIM-54 Phoenix missile is to kill multiple air targets with conventional warheads. It is an airborne weapons control system with multiple-target handling capabilities, used to defend carrier battle groups against threats such as low-flying, long-range, high-speed, nuclear-armed cruise missiles and considerable electronic countermeasures.Read More...
